Re-Cycling with Re-Union
We have an exciting new project for 2017/2018 supported by Keep Scotland Beautiful Climate Challenge Fund: RE-CYCLING WITH RE-UNION CANAL BOATS. They will be delivering activities on and off the water to educate all on the impact of climate change, promote ways to reduce local carbon emissions including plans to get us all cycling, recycle and re-use waste, reducing fly tipping, compost our food waste and improve our local environment for the benefit of generations to come.

Re-Union Canal Boats Ltd, £5,325 – Falkirk
This group wishes to start operating canal boat trips from The Helix in Falkirk run by volunteers. The trips would include bespoke options, educational trips and short trips to explore the area with a community cafe on board. The funding will be used for staff time to carry out a community consultation and market research.
