We are seeking a Project Worker to support our Keep Scotland Beautiful, Climate Challenge Fund Project, Re-Cycling with Re-Union Canal Boats. This one year full time role running Wednesday to Sunday, is based in Falkirk for 12 months reporting to and supported by our Development Manager. The salary is £18,000 per annum. Re-Union offer 25 days holiday per year in addition to 13 public holidays.
The project includes fulfilling a range of on and off the water activities to educate all on the impact climate change, promoting ways to reduce local carbon emissions through active travel, re-cycle and re-use waste, reduce fly tipping, compost our food waste and improve our local environment. The Project Worker will support the successful delivery of this innovative project.

Experience of complying to Health & Safety legislation.
Ability to lead cycling activities.
Experienced communicating with all members of communities to encourage changed behaviours.
Knowledge of re-cycling practices.
Skills with recording information within systems.
Experience of supporting volunteers in a supervisory capacity.
Comfortable working flexibly within a small team.
Proven leadership abilities.
General practical skills to support re-use of waste.
Must be comfortable working outdoors.
RYA Helmsman qualification and crewing experience.
Knowledge of canal environment.
